When this episode is over, you suddenly realise how slight the plot is, so it's to the episode's credit that it's actually pretty enjoyable. There's some angst for Summer and a nice light-hearted subplot for Karl as he begins to form a band with Ajay and Adrian. It's nice to see Ajay becoming more central and his taking Paul's challenge to try out the drums is a nice moment.
The main focus is on Susan, after encouraging her staff to come up with ideas last episode, suddenly deciding they have to talk to her before they do anything. It's perhaps the schoolteacher in her but it doesn't do much for anyone's confidence. And the way an internet crash brings the entire paper grinding to a halt is a bit hard to fathom.
