Munich-based sales agency Global Screen has acquired “You’re Not Me,” the debut feature of the directors Moisés Romera and Marisa Crespo, for worldwide theatrical distribution. It is a dark elevated genre thriller with elements of satire, focusing on two of the filmmakers’ obsessions: family relationships and social differences.
In the film, Aitana returns home for Christmas, for the first time in three years, to find that her parents have replaced her with an unknown woman. She is her own age, sleeping in her bed, wearing her clothes, living in her house, and treated by her parents as if she were their daughter.
From that moment on, torn by jealousy, suspicion, and misunderstanding, Aitana tries to find out what is happening and who the intruder is that has taken her place in the family – until she discovers an unexpected and disturbing truth that is darker and way bloodier than she would ever have thought possible.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will star in and executive produce a series adaptation of the Christina Clancy novel “The Second Home” currently in the works at Sony’s TriStar TV, Variety has learned.
The story follows the Gordon and Shaw families beyond a fateful summer on Cape Cod. Told through two generations, the story explores how a devastating secret can derail young love, tear apart families, and change the fate of countless individuals forever if they let it. “The Second Home” was Clancy’s debut novel. It was published by St. Martin’s Press in June 2020.
No network or writer is currently attached to the series, but Coster-Waldau will executive produce along with his producing partners Joe Derrick and Jeffrey Chassen under their Ill Kippers banner.
Should the series move forward, it would mark Coster-Waldau’s first television role since “Game of Thrones” ended in 2019. He famously played Jaime Lannister throughout the megahit HBO show’s eight-season run.

The epic drama, based on Sweden’s beloved classic novel written by Vilhelm Moberg, is slated to begin principal photography in September. Norway’s Erik Poppe, one of the most experienced and compelling Scandinavian directors, best known for films such as Hawaii, Oslo (2004), A Thousand Times Good Night (2013), The King’s Choice (2016) and his most recent (and shocking) title, U – July 22 (2018), hopes to shoot his next endeavour in West Sweden in September. The veteran helmer’s new effort, an epic drama entitled The Emigrants, is based on the classic 1949 novel of the same name, written by Vilhelm Moberg, and is being adapted for the big screen by Siv Rajendram Eliassen and Anne Bache-Wiig. Speaking about the plot, producer Fredrik Wikström Nicastro explained: “The story that Vilhelm Moberg told over 70 years ago is a timeless classic and is more relevant today than when it was first written....

Juliette Binoche playing a war photographer? That's probably anyone familiar with the actress needs to know about her upcoming "A Thousand Times Good Night," even if the results are a bit middling. In her review out of the Marrkaech Film Festival in December, our Jessica Kiang wrote that the film has the "enervating effect of so many fertile issues introduced only to be muddied into confusion or simply abandoned." But she also notes that Binoche herself is "particularly terrific." So what's it all about? Featuring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and uh, U2 drummer Larry Mullen, the film chronicles the story of war photography trying to balance being a wife and mother, while also navigating some of the most dangerous regions in the world for her job. Again, potent material and we're sure Binoche brings enough value to make this worth a spin regardless. "A Thousand Times Good Night" opens in the UK and Ireland on May 2nd.

Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has been cast as the main character in Alex Pyoyas' epic fantasy film project Gods of Egypt.
According to The Wrap, the story "is set in ancient Egypt against the legendary world of great pyramids and sphinxes. Coster-Waldau would play Horus, the god of the sky, who teams up with a human thief and Hathor, the goddess of love, on a magical quest to avenge the death of his father, Osiris."
Proyas hasn't made a film since Knowing. He's been in development on a few projects but they all seem to have fallen through. Most notably Paradise Lost, which he was supposed to do with Bradley Cooper. Gods of Egypt sounds like it could be an incredible movie, and Coster-Waldau should be great in it. It will be good to see Proyas develop an epic sounding movie like that. Hopefully he can pull it off!

Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will be best known to most for his role as the charismatic but despised Jaime Lannister on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” while to the few he’ll be known for his intimidating turn in “Headhunters.” But it increasingly looks like that won’t be the case for long.
