The old ladies and their song are the heart of this edition of Eurovision Song Contest, for freshness of message , for costumes, smiles and for the end of their performance, for return to tradition and beautiful atmosphere. A song about an old, precious world, about grandparents prepairing plates and expecting grandchildren. Lovely simplicity and admirable old air of childhood mornings.

For those who do not ESC is an annual summer party around Europe, and the country who gets most points get the right to host. There is a long buildup in the Winter every year to see who will go to ESC from everry country. That year you had an Oriental fairytale of an ESC with everything from Albania that is not for all depite the tragic theme of a disaster that year, a traditional son from countries like Russia and an tropical dance song from France and pop from Denmark and Sweden. Watch this on Youtube if you have 3 hours, or watch this on DVD if are lucky enough.
