I saw it as a film about teenagers more than about lesbianism. In same measure, a film about family . Well acted, nice crafted, decent exploration of sensitive themes.

So, to assume your sexual orientation is, always, in every society, just a challenge. The film reminds this and it does it in reasonable manner.
