The Richard and Jett storyline takes a surprising direction, with Richard ducking out of the possibility of being a father rather early. John shows surprising insight in realising Richard cares about Jett, although he loses point by effectively scaring him off with horror stories.Gina and Jett claw some viewer sympathy back as Gina determines to do what's right for him and Jett, presented with an opportunity to lash out, instead showing a renewed vulnerability.
Heath continues to show understandable reticence at his new role in Bianca and Rocco's lives.Irene is frustratingly unsympathetic, although for all the icy stares she does at least know when to give them some space to sort things out.Heath makes a discovery about Danny which puts him even more at odds with Brax, whose attempts to play the martyr are getting increasingly wearing.It's hard not to grin when Heath calls him "Darryl".
