  • Nothing graphic in this series.
  • The show would probably be PG for mild battle violence and brief nudity, except for the last episode (Richard III) which would probably be PG-13 for strong bloody violence.

  • Falstaff and Doll Tearsheet are shown making out in bed while people secretly watch them. It is implied, however, that Falstaff is impotent, so any desire for sex is thwarted (Henry IV, Part 2).
  • Falstaff is seen in bed with a prostitute. We see part of the woman's buttocks, and Falstaff slaps them when he gets out of bed (Henry IV, Part 1).

Violence & Gore

  • The battle scene at the end of Henry IV, Part 1 is intense and brief glimpses of bloody violence is seen.

  • Richard orders a man executed. His head is brought into the court, and a man throws the bloody head at Richard, and he catches it and smiles (Richard III).
  • The two young princes are smothered to death by a murderer in the tower. Not graphic but disturbing and sad (Richard III).
