  [She reaches towards the mutant which gets ready to attack her] 

  Mandrake the Magician : [sensing what is about to happen]  Jedda! No!

  [He rushes over to Jedda and knocks her aside, but is unable to get clear before part of the mutant attaches itself to his hand]
