Honoring the history of this show and its predecessor by making Halloween an important thing was a good move. This was a big deal for Roseanne, but there was also the added element of COVID ruining it for two years so this was the first truly special Halloween in some time.
Could it have been funnier? Of course, but that ship has kind of sailed at this point. I am just happy that we still have some laugh track shows on the air, and especially one with a rich history.
Glad they did not get as political as they could have gone here. I kind of wish we could have heard Roseanne's take on book bans though.
