It seems like far too many sitcoms are running the Halloween route as their holiday special, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Roseanne/The Conners immediately come to mind, but it is easy to see why as there are a number of directions you can take it.
They picked a good actress to play Molly, but overall the episode was just not high on laughs. The farmers market neighbors do not bring the kind of laughs that you need when you are looking for guest stars on a sitcom.
