Terrible

I cannot emphasize how bad this movie is. It quite literally may be the worst movie I have ever seen.

I would say it is on par with a student film at film school...but that is an insult to film school. It feels as though no real effort was made to make this movie quality at all.

The story is non existent. I watched this movie because I love Christmas movies. I even love corny Hallmark movies and others like it. But those have stories....even if they are predictable...they at least have a story. This movie is completely devoid of any interesting story.

The writing and dialog are absolutely terrible.

The movie is shot with a terrible camera. IPhone cameras do better quality.

No set design at all to speak of. No costume design at all.

Very poor acting.

Just avoid this movie at all cost. The only reason to watch is to enjoy making fun of the ridiculous dialog and story throughout the (2 HOUR!!!) film.

For the Love of Christmas (2022) is a movie that I recently watched on Tubi. The storyline follows Rashad who is a teacher on the verge of signing a book deal and his career taking off. He is also engaged and believes his personal life is where it needs to be also. However, his best friend doesn't like his fiancée and believes she is up to something. Rashad will try to balance his relationship with his wife and best friend...thing get more challenging on this front when his wife plans their wedding on Christmas day.

This movie is written and directed by Karlton T. Clay (Sweet Mahogany) and stars Donald Ross Jr. (Ladies Choice), Kiara C. Bennett (Forbidden Fruit: First Bite), Nakia Burrise (Hart of Dixie), Aaron Wiggins (Deadly Sexy) and Frank FaCheaux (Sweet Mahogany 2).

Well, this movie has a nice soundtrack...and this had a potential worthwhile premise. However, the acting and dialogue is very average and many of the sequences felt awkward and unnatural. All of the interactions between the fiancée and friend felt unnatural. There's a sex scene in here that was hilarious and had me cracking up. The ending is predictable, cliche; and again, felt unauthentic.

Overall, this is a below average addition to the holiday genre that's only worth watching if you can't find a better alternative. I would score a 3/10 and recommend skipping.
