This was the first script written by Scott McMillan back in 2015, as he expressed on Film Freeway "This is a passion project as it was my very first script ever written all the way back in 2014/15, I based it on the Overtoun House dog suicide bridge in Dumbarton, Scotland which was a place I would go to in order to get away from the public and relax for a change.
At that time of writing, I had absolutely no clue how to make a film. So I researched how to make a film until I then realised I really can't make it because of one major thing. I don't have a team and I don't have any way of getting one."

The film is loosely based on the Dog Suicide Bridge at Overtoun House in Dumbarton, Scotland. The ghost story told in the film is a more exaggerated account of the real life story.
During a line in the film that mentions being thrown off the bridge, writer and director Scott McMillan who also voiced David in the film recorded numerous versions of the same line. All these variations had different types of wrestling moves including chokeslams, dropkicks and RKO's.
Susan Sims was the first and only actor that was handpicked by creator Scott McMillan to play Marrion Brown. When he showed Susan the script she agreed right away that it was something she wanted involved with. Susan then recommended Christopher Wallace for the part of Jack to which Scott McMillan agreed he was perfect for the role as Christopher played a part in one of Scott's favourite films that is Peter Mullan's "NEDS"
