This is a review for the ninth episode from the first season of the Night Court Revival. This episode is called Two Peas on a Pod.
Reading the title of this review, you might be asking yourself, a 7/10? How does a standard Sitcom episode get a 7/10?
My answer is that ,to me, standard Sitcom episodes are worth a 7/10. If you have read any of my past reviews for this series revival, you might notice this is the first time I gave one of theae a 7/10. So, yeah, this is the first time an episode hasn't had any real problems and met a normal baseline for quality. Sad but tree There is nothing technically wrong with this episode, it is just that stuff done fine could have been done so much better, particularly Olivia and Neil's subplot.
The best part of the episode is when Abby talks about being in a figurative hot seat and complains about how hot it is and falls out of her chair. It is a very nice bit of physical comedy. Also, Dan's comments about cocaine are funny, as is his story about losing an election to a dead guy, which is a reference to an episode of the original Night Court where Dan does just that.
Next, I'll be reviewing the 10th episode called Marathon Thon Thon Thon. Stay tuned!
