Mark Donald Herrmann is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for twelve seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. Herrmann played college football for the Purdue Boilermakers, and was recognized as an All-American. He subsequently played professionally for four different NFL teams. After retiring as a player, he became the Associate Director of Educational Programs for the NCAA, and currently works as a broadcaster for local football after serving on the Indianapolis Colts broadcast crew for nearly a decade.

Baseball great and Anderson, Ind. native, Carl Erskine. "Oisk" discusses his incredible baseball career as a pitcher with the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers where he played with Jackie Robinson, Pee Wee Reese and Duke Snider. Bob is a 10 time NHRA Pro Stock Car Champion with 85 National Event wins, once won 50 consecutive rounds and is an inductee of the International Motorsports Hall of Fame. Bob shares how he got started drag racing and the special relationship that drag racing has within his family. This All-American running back from Richmond High School chose Notre Dame Football because they stressed academics over athletics. Vagas was a Heisman Trophy finalist, MVP of the 1978 Cotton Bowl and leading rusher when he graduated from ND. He was drafted in the 1st round by the New England Patriots and played in the NFL for 5 years. Vagas is a grounded person, a humble man from humble beginnings who is more concerned with how he can help others and is as great at working with kids as he was at football.

Tolbert's wild free-form style of play always made a game fun to watch at the now defunct Anderson Madison Heights high school. Tolbert discusses his choice of Indiana Basketball over Purdue, what it was like to win the 1981 National Championship and his playing time in the NBA of which he describes the opportunity to sit next to former teammate Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as "sitting next to history." Tolbert followed his professional basketball years with a successful high school coaching career and as a motivational speaker. He is currently an Assistant Coach at Fishers High School.

Hoosier Legends features Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee and former Indiana Pacers Center Mel Daniels. Daniels is arguably the most important athlete to ever play in Indianapolis. The addition of Daniels and Coach Bobby Leonard to the Indiana Pacers propelled the team to championship status, paving the way for Market Square Arena to be built - catapulting the revitalization of downtown into the sports city it is today. Daniels also discusses his introduction to the game of basketball at the age of 17 and the rest is history.
