Warning: Spoilers
The movie "A Bad Actor" seems to address delicate themes such as gender abuse and violence; however, the way it presents these themes is problematic. The portrayal of an actor abusing an actress in a scene with sexual content raises concerns regarding ethics and boundaries in the film industry. Moreover, by depicting women advocating for women's rights as extremely violent and unrestricted against men, there is a risk of perpetuating harmful stereotypes and oversimplifying the complexities of gender equality struggles.

The extreme violence depicted in the movie, both in the abuse scene and in the actions of women advocating for women's rights, raises questions about the responsible representation of sensitive topics. Portraying women as the most aggressive segment of society in defense of women can reinforce misconceptions about the fight for gender equality and justice.

Instead of addressing these issues in a reflective and constructive manner, the film seems to suggest a disproportionate and dangerous response to gender violence. This representation not only oversimplifies the complex problems associated with gender abuse but could also undermine real efforts to promote equality and eradicate violence against women. Ultimately, it is crucial that cinematic works addressing sensitive topics such as gender abuse do so in an ethical, informed, and respectful manner to positively contribute to dialogue and social change.

Inner lust faces a ninja reaction

"Bad Actor" is a rollercoaster of emotions where the viewer will constantly face the dilemma of where to draw the moral line in an uncomfortable situation, either to be quiet and take it as a bad experience, or to make all the possible noise when facing unfairness, in this case a non-consensual sex encounter within a movie set. This one is worth watching, very far from the common trend of light comedy flicks sugarcoated with romance. Fiona Palomo depicts her character with a superb performance. Alfonso Dosal is pushed to the limits of human resistance and Patricia Soto plays the woman who surrenders to the big temptation. A great film with several angles to enjoy.

"Un actor malo" is an intense masterpiece.

"Un actor malo" is one of the best Mexican films of recent years, an intense drama with overtones of suspense that managed to keep me on the edge of my seat throughout its duration. The script is excellent, it makes you wonder who of the two protagonists is lying, the drama and suspense emerge in each scene until you know the truth and the results that it entails. The work of the film's director is majestic, the leading actors: Alfonso Dosal and Fiona Palomo provide outstanding and natural performances, an adrenaline of feelings emanates from both. The cinematography is magnificent and is brutal in accentuating the drama. "Un actor malo" is an intense masterpiece.

Good actors badly edited.

The story is not easy but you have to be careful to do it well. Fiona's impressive performance is what almost saves the film. But the director/writer does not have the skills to tell a terrible event with a strong but delicate dramatic course. They make Fiona bring out her talent but it's a melodramatic abuse that makes the key scenes almost unbearable. They waste such good actors and actresses with scenes so long that they become tedious and kill the little rhythm that is barely achieved.

You have to be tactful to be able to tell a story like this efficiently and without going overboard. The story is lost in overemphasis and melodramatic exaggeration.
