It was a double elimination night on The Challenge: All Stars Season 4’s latest episode, “Karma Maria,” and unfortunately for the season’s most veteran contestant, Kefla Hare, he was one of the two contestants who didn’t make it out of the arena unscathed. Kefla, a Road Rules: Down Under alum who was last on a Challenge 25 years ago with the Real World/Road Rules Challenge (which he won), had a good showing this season — until a hamstring injury threw him off of the game during the latest episode’s challenge, “Take a Seat,” a stadium-sized version of “Musical Chairs.” Since Kefla had a star, earned during his elimination bout with Syrus Yarbrough, he was targeted for the elimination alongside fellow star-holder Steve Meinke. The two faced off in the “Rope Rumble” elimination, but thanks to Kefla’s leg and Steve’s experience with wrestling, Kefla was not victorious.

The Challenge: All Stars 4 brought back familiar faces from MTV’s past, including a champion looking for another win and former finalists looking to win their first version of the competition show.
Former Real World: Skeletons star Nicole Zanatta was among those former finalists, who many consider a threat to win the spinoff season.
Viewers saw her appear in the final in two out of three seasons for MTV’s show, and an unfortunate injury disqualified her from continuing towards another final in her third season.
Now, she’s back for the fourth season of All Stars, where she contends with show winners Cara Maria Sorbello, Brad Fiorenza, and Rachel Robinson.
There’s also former winner Laurel Stucky, who happens to be Nicole’s ex, adding another complexity to focusing on the game.
During a recent appearance on the Zach Nichols Podcast, she shared why she has difficulty winning a final.

Brandon Nelson is among the MTV OGs who returned as part of The Challenge: All Stars 4 cast, and according to him, it came at an “opportune” time.
On the spin-off, the Fresh Meat 2 star reunited with former MTV castmates, including Cara Maria Sorbello, Jasmine Reynaud, Leroy Garrett, and Laurel Stucky.
For castmates and viewers, it was the first time they had seen Brandon compete in a version of The Challenge in 10 years.
His last appearance was on 2014’s Free Agents, where Zach Nichols eliminated him in the fourth episode. Throughout five seasons on The Challenge, Brandon never reached or won a final.
Brandon recently shared that his call for All Stars 4 came at the right time and explained why he hadn’t returned until the spinoff.

Zach Nichols felt that his former castmate, Cara Maria Sorbello, could have handled her situation with a castmate on The Challenge: All Stars 4 differently.
Cara is currently appearing with other MTV OGs on the Paramount+ spin-off, which features just one winner for the fourth season.
The game can be cutthroat, and things can get rougher with the added twists, such as winning stars and stealing them from other competitors.
In a recent episode, viewers saw several castmates get into it due to a strategic vote to send one competitor into the elimination.
That war of words featured Cara labeling her castmate a weaker player while comparing them to the other All Stars 4 competitors, which Zach took exception to.
The former Battle of the Seasons winner and The Real World: San Diego cast member spoke about it on his recent podcast episode, mentioning how his perspective is different now that he has a daughter.

[Warning: The following post contains Major spoilers for The Challenge: All Stars‘ latest episode.] It’d been 10 years since Brandon Nelson last competed on The Challenge, and a lot of things changed in his personal life — and his gameplay strategy, for that matter — when he returned for All Stars Season 4. Though he and Cara Maria Sorbello were two of the few Challenge-first players (having both joined the show for Fresh Meat II) — and she was cast in every season he’d been on — he didn’t feel compelled to stay loyal to her when it came to choosing a pair for elimination in last week’s episode against Rachel Robinson. Though she came back with her star intact, Cara Maria was still stung by Brandon’s decision to turn against her, and he knew he’d have to pay for that decision sooner or later. He justified the move by ...

The Challenge introduced plenty of stars to viewers throughout its 39 seasons, including Nany Gonzalez.
The beloved cast member debuted on MTV’s The Real World: Las Vegas in 2012 and then became a regular on the competition series.
Her most recent appearance came during The Challenge: Ride or Dies, where she reached another final, this time alongside Johnny Bananas, the show’s winningest competitor.
Unfortunately, Nany and Bananas came up short, losing to eventual champions Tori Deal and Devin Walker.
Since then, viewers haven’t seen Nany on any version of The Challenge, whether it be MTV’s regular seasons or one of the spinoffs like All Stars.
Rumors have suggested that she may not be interested in a return to the franchise right now.
However, a producer recently praised the longtime cast member, indicating he knew she’d be a star despite being “rough around the edges” initially.

RuPaul’s Drag Race is more than just your typical reality TV competition series; it has evolved into a cultural phenomenon. The show has crowned numerous superstar drag queens who have stomped through the Werk Room, with over 100 queens competing for the highest honor in the world of drag.
Hosted by RuPaul Charles, it celebrates the artistic prowess of drag queens from diverse backgrounds and offers a glimpse into the lives of contestants who courageously share their tales of resilience in the face of discrimination and prejudice.
Since its debut in 2009, the show has consistently delivered iconic television moments, with episodes challenging contestants to showcase their ‘charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent.’ Even if one doesn’t snatch the crown as the season’s winner, there’s still the opportunity to secure a coveted place in the ‘Drag Race Hall of Fame’ through RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.

Along with Laurel in All Stars 4, Nicole Zanatta, her ex-girlfriend, returned to the show after an unsuccessful Double Agents season on MTV.
Based on recent comments from Cara, she immediately got worried when she saw they were her castmates,...

Cara Maria Sorbello made her highly-anticipated return for a season of The Challenge with the recent premiere of All Stars 4.
While she previously appeared on The Challenge: Battle For a New Champion on MTV, Cara hadn’t done a full season since War of the Worlds 2 in 2019.
That season, she participated in a major alliance that her boyfriend Paulie Calafiore set up with other players from Team UK.
It led to plenty of chaos and potential grudges from other cast members, and the duo wasn’t seen back on The Challenge until this year’s USA 2 and All Stars 4 spin-offs.
Paulie was the first to return on USA 2 and buried the hatchet with their rival Johnny Bananas. Cara showed up for MTV’s Season 39 as a mercenary – filmed after she’d completed filming for All Stars 4.

Fan-favorite power couple Leroy Garrett and Kam Williams officially returned to The Challenge as part of the All Stars 4 spin-off.
The popular duo, now parents to two children, last appeared together in MTV’s Double Agents season.
Ahead of that season, Leroy announced it would be his last one, and he revealed it was due to the lack of involvement production had during his castmate’s racist tirade toward him on The Challenge Season 30.
While away from the show, he focused on his barber business, his relationship with Kam, and building their family.
However, The Challenge came calling again with the Paramount+ spinoff show, and Leroy accepted the call.
He credited Kam for talking him into it because of how things have changed with everyone involved in the competition series.

The Challenge: All Stars 4 premiered back-to-back episodes, and the second installment featured a volatile situation between castmates which may have included more to the story.

Returning OGs from the past also include Adam Larson, Ace Amerson, Flora Alekseyeva, Ayanna Mackins, Janelle Casaneve, Tina Barta, and Jasmine Reynaud.
Like MTV’s version, the spin-off on Paramount+ involves outplaying your opponents in daily challenges and outwitting them to survive.

Since the beginning, The Challenge: All Stars has been giving all-new meaning to the term “veterans.” Whereas The Challenge proper and other spinoffs like The Challenge: U.S.A. have been busy introducing fresh blood into the franchise, All Stars gives some of the longer-in-the-tooth Challengers a place to shine. This season, which premieres on April 10 on Paramount+, there are some serious blasts from the past in play, including a few folks even the most dedicated Challenge fan might’ve forgotten. The vastness of the generational variety in Season 4 brings with it a few ages-old alliances that put certain folks in peak positions right from the start. On the other hand, there are also some more recent folks who are already good enough to count as an “All Star,” and that’s a wholly different kind of advantage. TV Insider caught up with a few of the returning stars from The Challenge:...

Nick Taylor and Cláudio Alves are watching and recapping RuPaul’s Drag Race season sixteen. This week, it’s time for episode fourteen…
Ronan Farrow has that All Stars glow-up.
CLÁUDIO: Just when we were starting to think the season had turned into a two-way race for the crown between Sapphira and Plane, here comes a new episode to shake things up. After years of top fours and a one-time fiver, RuPaul’s Drag Race has returned to a triadic finale, using this fourteenth chapter to boot its fourth-placer, fragilize one of the frontrunners’ bid, and bolster another contender’s narrative. A well-produced piece of television, this game-changer hour felt like a gift to Nymphia Wind fans everywhere, making it look like she might stand a chance after all. Considering her strange edit, I’m skeptical, but this episode gave me some much-needed hope. Were you similarly enthused, or is this season...

The Challenge: All Stars 4 will bring back former fan favorites, including castmates who are friends and foes.
Nicole Zanatta and Laurel Stucky, who are ex-castmates and ex-lovers, will be among the MTV OGs competing in the fourth season of the spinoff.
The pair met through their reality television careers and had a tumultuous relationship on and off The Challenge. They also appeared on MTV’s Ex on the Beach: Peak of Love.
While some viewers might think they’ll be ready to put their differences aside and work together, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Although the previous seasons featured their loving relationship, many fans have seen their falling out on social media.
A promotional sneak peek video for an upcoming episode of All Stars 4 also revealed that they have an “awkward” situation as the season begins.

The Challenge: All Stars is back for its fourth season on Paramount+ this week, and some members of the cast are starting to speak out about what fans can expect from this season. Ace Amerson previously returned for All Stars‘ first season and was a finalist in his last main Challenge season, The Inferno 3, so he was already familiar with what this particular spinoff entails — namely, that it features some of the best players of all time (some of whom only claim to be past their prime). Still, this season left him stunned in more ways than one. “A lot of the older players like that, I had a good relationship [going in]. Like Rachel [Robinson], I had the biggest crush on Rachel back in 2005. I almost made her not gay for one night. Almost. It was so funny, I reminded her about that last time I saw her. Yeah, I had my moments,...

When MTV put The Challenge on their airwaves back in 1998, the idea was to assemble a group of former Real World and Road Rules cast members and pit them against each other for a cash prize. Nobody could have predicted the show would be going strong over a quarter century later with more than 500 episodes across 39 seasons, spinoffs shooting all over the globe, and a rabid fan base that obsesses over every detail of it on social media, web forums, podcasts, and even live Challenge Mania events where fans gather together to meet cast members.

The Challenge stars Wes Bergmann and Theresa Jones are two MTV OGs many fans would love to see return for another installment of the competition series.
Based on recent remarks, they are doubling down on their retirement talk and turning down opportunities to appear on MTV’s show.
Viewers last saw Theresa in the Double Agents season as she teamed up with Jay Starrett.
Wes last appeared on The Challenge: USA 2 as one of the six MTV stars competing against CBS reality TV icons.
With Wes set to appear in the House of Villains 2 cast soon, some fans may have wondered if that had anything to do with his retirement from The Challenge.
With Season 40 filming underway, he set the record straight, suggesting that he has no further intention of appearing on MTV’s version of the show. However, he left the door open for something related to The Challenge.

They appeared in the Battle For a New Champion season, where Nurys was in the main cast, and Laurel was among the 10 former Challenge champs who showed up at The Arena for eliminations.
More recently, they’ve appeared in MTV’s airing of the Season 39 reunion and didn’t have any arguments during the first part of the special.

The Challenge: Battle For a New Champion winner was revealed last week during the season finale, and cheating claims have ensued.
The Season 39 reunion brought all seven finalists back together, with Nurys Mateo suggesting that show winner Emanuel Neagu cheated on his way to victory.
Host Maria Menounos asked reunion participants if Emanuel is a “worthy champion,” with Devin Walker joking he’s the “champion on a season of losers.”
Emanuel fired back that he would “kick the hell out of anyone up there,” which got Nurys fired up.
“Actually you want me to tell the truth? You only won because you cheated off Colleen [Schneider]…so humble yourself,” Nurys said, referring to the giant sudoku puzzle finalists had to solve at one checkpoint.
“Maybe a little bit, but a win is a win,” Emanuel replied, but the castmates took things further on social media.

The wait is finally over for fans of MTV’s competition show, The Challenge, and its All Stars spinoff shows!
The Challenge: All Stars 4 has an official release date, a cast reveal, photos, and a trailer highlighting what’s coming in the episodes.
Power couple Kam Williams and Leroy Garrett lead the returning cast members for the fourth installment of the Paramount+ spinoff.
They’ll reunite as castmates for the new season after viewers saw them together for Double Agents, which Leroy indicated would be his final season of the show.
He and Kam started their life and family together away from the show, including moving to a new city, having a son, and now expecting a second child.
Other familiar faces for All Stars 4 include former finalist Tony Raines and show winners Laurel Stucky and Cara Maria Sorbello, whom Challenge fans saw briefly on MTV’s Battle For a New Season.

The Challenge: Battle For a New Champion crowned just one winner as its champion at the end of the final.
While Emanuel Neagu was the Season 39 winner after crossing the finish line first, many viewers and fans feel Nurys Mateo should have been named a winner.
Of the cast members who qualified for the final, she had been the only one who entered any eliminations before getting there.
Nurys won two in a row, eliminating four of her castmates before reaching the final, which seemed to indicate she earned it more than her fellow finalists.
In addition, she crossed the finish line at the final in second place, before Colleen Schneider, Berna Canbeldek, or Corey Lay, and many fans feel a woman should have also won Season 39.
Former show winner Derrick Kosinski agrees with that notion, as he recently commented on how the season ended, even comparing Nurys to a few of his Og castmates.

Believe it or not but the Super Bowl wasn’t always the major media event that it is today.
Before network executives fully understood Americans’ passion for football, the NFL’s championship game received no special treatment. In fact, NBC and CBS didn’t even bother to save their broadcasts of Super Bowl I, recording over the tapes with soap operas. One of the most consequential sporting events in North American history could have become lost media if it weren’t for a handful of fans who made their own bootleg copies.
By now, however, everyone is keenly aware that the most widely-viewed American TV broadcast every year will inevitably be the Super Bowl. Last year’s matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles was the most-watched telecast ever with an average of 115.1 million viewers tuning in across all platforms. There’s every reason to believe that...
