Trivia | The Butterbit memorial scene was filmed in the St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Raymond, MS. The church was built in 1854 and was placed on the National Historic Register in 1998. During the Battle of Raymond in May 1863 the church building was used as a hospital. The original floors to this day have stains from blood of the wounded treated in the church. See more » |
