Grace is a Lebanese in Buenos Aires. One day her great-aunt confesses that Mohammed, her great-grandfather, did not die in Argentina but returned to Lebanon, abandoning the family. He hands him letters in Arabic that no one has ever read.
An Argentinian woman grows increasingly curious about her Arab heritage. After going through her Lebanese grandmother's old photo albums and translating the letters sent from relatives in Lebanon, she finally decides to make the trip and go to the south of Lebanon in search of the other half of her family.
