Love Is Blind Season 5 featured plenty of intense moments, but the real drama is happening off-screen.

Renee Poche is suing Netflix and production company Delirium TV, claiming they violated California labor law and intentionally inflicted emotional distress. Deadline details, “Brute 1976 will begin with the story of Raquel and her girlfriend, whose car breaks down in the middle of nowhere as they travel to a photoshoot in the desert to celebrate Bicentennial unity. NBC’s The Voice Season 24 is in full swing, and fans (especially us writers here at Showbiz) can’t wait to see how coach Reba McEntire fits in with the other coaches. We remember watching McEntire on her hit sitcom, Reba, but she’s now taking Blake Shelton’s place as the country superstar sitting at the judge’s table. Unfortunately, according to a body language expert, McEntire and Gwen Stefani might be having early issues.
A body expert claims Gwen Stefani looked ‘intimidating’ around Reba McEntire in ‘The Voice’ Season 24
Body language expert Judi James says Gwen Stefani’s body language toward Reba McEntire is all wrong in The Voice Season 24. The season premiere showed Stefani and McEntire already duking it out over certain contestants during the Blind Auditions. And given Stefani’s gestures, she might not be too happy with McEntire’s presence.

Blind (JioCinema)
Okay, so first things first. Blind is remake of a Korean film. It is not the first Indian remake of the 2011 film. In 2021, there was a Tamil version Netrikann. Prior to that, there was a Chinese and Japanese version as well.
This is to say, Blind is popular subject for remakes. The Hindi one, just out on the free-for-all JioCinema platform, is not as powerful as Netrikann. But I must say Sonam Kapoor Ahuja looks as pretty playing blind as Nayanthara in the original.
The underrated Purab Kohli is the serial killer on the prowl. Not enough bite to his bark. There is so much barking going on, what with a friendly canine playing a pivotal role. The plot has a few heartstopping moments of suspense especially when the killer gives the blind heroine a ride on a car where he has a dead woman in the trunk.

Mumbai, July 7 (Ians) Crime thrillers are engaging and often edge-of-the-seat experiences that do not necessarily have great performances. The first requirement of such a film is that all the characters — from the suspects to the law enforcers — need to be convincing.
A remake of the Korean thriller ‘Blind’ (2011), originally remade as the Tamil ‘Netrikann’, which came out on Disney+ Hotstar in 2021, the Sonam Kapoor-headlined film centres around a blind police officer in search of a serial killer. What’s unusual is fashionista Sonam Kapoor essaying the role of tough cop Gia, who is seen shooting a bullseye at a firing range.
Not that professional actors can’t play roles that demand a complete departure from their screen image; what is important for them is to get under the skin of the character without retaining any traces of their erstwhile screen appearances.

Sonam Kapoor has the huge task of carrying the new film Blind on her shoulders, and she seems to be falling short of the chops required to pull it off. An official remake of the 2011 thriller of the same name, Blind, does most things right, but at the end of it, the characters’ portrayals by the actors are too thin to deal with the emotional heft of the film. The fight sequences are messy, and Sonam’s expressions leave much to be desired.
The story revolves around Gia, a cop of Indian descent working in Glasgow, Scotland. Gia, in an attempt to ground her brother, Adrian, cuffs him in her car but meets with an accident which takes Adrian’s life and Gia’s eyesight. Blind and hopeless, Gia resolves to pick herself up and tries joining the police force again, but is declined. Living with the darkness seems to...

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, who will be seen stepping into the role of a visually-impaired woman in her upcoming streaming movie ‘Blind’, has revealed the reason behind giving her nod to the film.
The actress said that she said yes to the thriller movie because of one man – director-producer Sujoy Ghosh, who is known as the master of the genre given his films like ‘Kahaani’, ‘Badla’ and others.
Sonam is returning to screens after a maternity break, and will be seen fighting it out against a cold-blooded serial-killer in the edgy thriller.
Sujoy has produced the film which is directed by Shome Makhija.
The actress said, “It was a no-brainer for me to do ‘Blind’ because Sujoy Ghosh is the producer of the film. He has a fantastic track record with edgy, gritty thrillers and I jumped at the idea that Sujoy would be the captain of the ship for Blind.

The casting of Love Is Blind is very interesting. Although the locations change each season, producers find the same type of personalities. One type is the man who is ashamed of his culture, and here is why this has to stop.

With Season 4, Love Is Blind has finally made the inevitable transition from reality dating show to reality-like show filled with people-like things.
The Netflix series (which is currently dropping new episodes on Fridays) has solidified its predictable formula comprised of trauma dumping, “energy” compatibility and musical performances by tone-deaf men. The intention for contestants is still to find love, but no longer with the person in the opposite pod. They’re looking for love, affirmation and adoration from us, the audience, by playing pretend and replicating behaviors from former seasons as if the show is a sport that can be mastered.

As The Voice started its Season 23 Battles Monday, it replaced the traditional Save with the Playoff Pass. What is it? You can watch Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Chance the Rapper and Niall Horan explain above. But in short, it’s a reward for an especially excellent performance that allows a coach to sit out a member of their team during the Knockouts and advance them directly to the Playoffs.
On the surface, this sounds great, right? If I’m a contestant, I’m like, “Whoo hoo! One less chance to be eliminated!” If you think about it, though, should singers...

2023 has been the year of Sza. Her sophomore album, “Sos,” debuted in mid-December and has only seen more success in the months since then. It spent 10 weeks atop the Billboard 200 and was acclaimed from the get-go, especially for its versatility. That part has been crucial to Sza’s success, as the album easily walks the lines between pop, R&b, hip-hop, and even alternative, making it digestible for most music lovers. So with such a diverse sound, what does this mean for her possible Grammy submissions?
It’s only fair to start from the top. It’s almost certain that Sza will submit the single “Kill Bill” to the general categories. Not only is it her biggest hit, it’s also acclaimed and will surely be her best bet at a nomination and perhaps a win. But there’s likely to be some debate over whether to submit the song to pop or R&b,...

San Francisco, Feb 28 (Ians) Mobile application developer company Bending Spoons has laid off 129 employees of note-taking and task management app Evernote, months after acquiring the company.
According to TechCrunch, Bending Spoons acquired Evernote, founded over 20 years ago, in November last year.
“This was a difficult — yet necessary — decision as we pursue our ambitious plans for Evernote. The company has been unprofitable for years and the situation was unsustainable in the long term,” a spokesperson was quoted as saying.
Though it is unclear which specific departments were affected, posts on LinkedIn and Blind (a social media app) suggest that the layoffs touched a range of Evernote teams, including product design, engineering, Hr, sales, customer service, and marketing, according to the report.
Over the past few decades, Evernote has had its ups and downs, including mass layoffs in 2015 and 2018 — a year in which top executives, such as Evernote’s chief technical officer,...

The newest Netflix reality show, Perfect Match, features some of the streamer’s biggest reality stars as they return to compete in challenges to see if they can find their perfect match. The cast includes Too Hot to Handle Season 1 villain Francesca Farago and Love Is Blind Season 1 villain Damien Powers. (A match made in villain heaven? Perhaps.) While Francesca certainly has no issues going after what she wants, many viewers wonder if Francesca and Damien are dating in 2023.

Mumbai, Jan 15 (Ians) Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor complained about pollution due to construction work in Mumbai and said that it is ‘tortuorous’ to drive in the city.
She mentioned in her tweet that she was travelling from her house in Juhu to Bandra bandstand but it took really long to reach to her destination.
She tweeted: “It’s torturous to drive through Mumbai. It’s taken me an hour to reach the bandstand from Juhu. Too much construction and digging everywhere. Pollution is through the roof. What’s going on.”
Some social media users said she was right, but many criticised her as well.
One user commented: “Have you even Seen outside? We can’t even breathe or open windows. It’s That Bad. Visible & invisible pollution are two different levels of devastation. If she’s trying to make a good change, support.”

Sam Raimi was attached to direct a sci-fi thriller set in the Bermuda Triangle for quite a while – then when he went off to replace Scott Derrickson as the director of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Derrickson stepped in to take the helm of Bermuda. That was almost three years ago and we’re still waiting to hear further information on that Bermuda Triangle project. In the meantime, Mahal Empire is set to release a creature feature called Bermuda Island on January 20th, and you can watch the trailer for the film in the embed above!
Producers Michael Mahal and Sonny Mahal crafted the story for Bermuda Island, which was directed by Adam Werth (Rancher’s Kin) from a screenplay by Crossbreed writer Robert Thompson. The film has the following synopsis: Passengers on their way to a tropical paradise crash at sea and find themselves on a deserted island.

As a music critic, it’s important to listen to as much music as possible. Play your favorites, but also discover new artists. Randomly select an album and give it a try. Check out recommendations from family, friends and folks on social media. Give that album you didn’t love another try.
Still, we like what we like, and music is subjective. With that said, here’s my list of the top albums of 2022!
1. Beyoncé, Renaissance
Listening to Beyoncé’s Renaissance is like watching and rewatching that epic TV series or film — the discovery is endless, and there is so much to unpack. The lyrics are catchy and confident, the beats are bouncy and brilliant and her vocal range is impeccable, going from fluttery coos on “Virgo’s Groove” to soft and sensual on “Plastic Off the Sofa” to assertive shit-talking throughout the 16-track dance escapade.

Last Christmas, we heard that Patrick Bergin (EastEnders) had signed on to star in a holiday horror film called Nutcracker, which Rebecca Matthews (The Gardener) was directing from a screenplay by Joe Knetter (Blind) that was based on a story by executive producer Jeff Miller (Once Upon a Time in Deadwood). That movie has now been released through the Tubi streaming service under the even more appealing title Nutcracker Massacre. To help you decide whether or not you’ll want to head over to Tubi and watch the movie as soon as possible, we have the trailer embedded above.
Executive produced by Commando director Mark L. Lester, Nutcracker Massacre follows a struggling novelist who visits her family for Christmas and finds a mysterious, life-size Nutcracker doll, which soon becomes possessed and wreaks havoc.
