Suggestive, provocative, true..

The movie speaks about a lonely man (Vinicio Marchioni), who works on the Neapolitan's beaches every night, to find the migrant's dead bodies and take them away. For this reason, the man is known as "find-corpses". He is an abject and loutish character, who speaks to the corpses and insults them. The narrative of his story is occasionally interrupted by five small documentaries, who recount five migrant's true stories, to show their lives in the Neapolitan's context. This movie is an experimental work of cross-over cinema, a director's trademark: Sandro Dionisio used this technique in his last joint, "Voce 'e sirena".

Touching and artsy

Touching and artsy experimental Movie I saw in Pesaro 48, where it deserved to win. Go see it, but avoid as pox if you like blockbusters only! The only thing I can complain about is the low level of interaction between the documentary part and the fictional segments in which Vinicio Marchioni plays wonderfully a character who is both awful and lovable, sick and wise, stupid and insightful like you'd never expect. The music is wonderful, and some magical editing and directing create real poetry now and then, while some parts are boring. All in all a must see if you are a once called art-house goer. Don't try to impress girlfriend with this!
