- Recommended MPAA rating: PG for mild violence and brief sensuality
- Like the first part, much of "Henry IV, Part 2" is set in a tavern/brothel, but almost no sexual content is ever actually seen, and any immoral behavior depicted is strongly condemned by the film as a whole.
- Falstaff and Doll Tearsheet are seen kissing passionately. They then get into bed with each other, but things do not end up becoming sexual since (as is vaguely implied in the dialogue) Falstaff is sexually impotent due to his old age and obesity. This all takes place while two people spy on them from the ceiling beams above. This is the only inappropriate scene, and it is not graphic at all.
- A man tries to grope and force himself upon a prostitute, but she objects loudly, and he does not succeed

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- A great deal of alcohol consumption and drunkenness is seen all throughout the film. This is not condoned, however, and, in the end, Prince Hal repents of his drunkenness and lechery and leaves that behavior behind.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- While there is less actual violence in this film, the tone of this second film is a bit darker than the previous one. There is intense familial strife and emotion.

Violence & Gore
- It appears as though the English court and the rebels have reached a cease-fire, but then the English turn on them and hunt down all the retreating rebels and kill them. Many are stabbed and blood is seen, but this is rather brief.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- King Henry IV gets sicker and sicker throughout the film, and he eventually dies at the end after a very long and painful battle with his illness. This is not violent or gory but it is very intense and sad.
