A classic and humored moment for Paralamas
Rodrigo_Amaro22 July 2022
"Ela Disse Adeus" marks as Paralamas do Sucesso greatest music video achievement simply because of its artistic concept while paying a lovely and humored tribute to the silent era films. Here, the group along with actress Fernanda Torres play those despicable characters in a story of love, pain and murder with plenty of humored bits.

Fernanda is the mistreated lover who suffers on the hands of the three band members (Herbert Vianna, Bi Ribeiro and João Barone), all men with their addictions and taste and who only pay attention to the woman when she brings the things they need, but when it comes to displaying love and affection for her thy just beat her up or mistreat her. But she'll get her revenge...on all of them!

The silent film style benefits the expressions of the players, the funny rhythm and editing given to it and also the cinematography that truly captures the old style of damaged film. As for the title cards, needless to say that not only it tells the story presented but it's also some excerpts from the song lyrics.

Known film directors Breno Silveira, Toni Vanzolini and Andrucha Waddington made of this clip a special treat to viewers and fans of cinema while Paralamas delivers one of their catchiest songs of all time. And Fernanda Torres delivers (as usual) one of the greatest clip performances of all time. You can't go wrong with this perfect junction, rewarded at the Music Video Brazil with several awards given. 10/10.
