Baby Oopsie 2: Murder Dolls (2022) is a Full Moon Features film that I recently watched on Tubi. The storyline follows Sybil from the first film that is paid to create two new dolls, a clown and a cowbaby. Now with three killer dolls they set out on a killing spree with a goal to open the gates to doll hell.

This movie is written and directed by William Butler (Curse of the Re-Animator) and stars Justin Armistead (Baby Oopsie), Elissa Dowling (The Most Dangerous Game), Pakob Jarernpone (Beast of Our Fathers) and Henry Zebrowski (The Wolf of Wall Street).

This picture contains the fun of the first film with solid kills, great gore, entertaining dolls (plus two cool new ones) and our hopeless Sybil. The clown and the cowbaby were pretty cool and the voices for the dolls are perfectly selected. I loved every scene with the cowbaby doll and the hammer 🔨 kill sequence was great. There's also good splatter and the soundtrack was random but not bad. There's a dance scene that wasn't needed but the Puppetmaster crossover was good.

Overall, this isn't great but there's worse ways to spend 56 minutes. I would score this a 6/10 and recommend seeing it once.

Baby needs to Kill

Warning: Spoilers
Baby Oopsie continues on the killing spree in Chargin Falls, Ohio near Lake Erie. If you somehow missed the first iconic Charles Band production, a recap of the film is given in a confession by Sybil (Libbie Higgins) our doll maker. Neighbor Ray-Ray (Justin Armistead) is the Satanic neighbor who animates the dolls. Sybil get an offer from a Chinese knock-off company to manufacture the Baby Oopsie doll as well as a cowboy and sad clown doll. This film moves from a "Chuckie" style film to that of a "Puppet Master" type of film. Not great in either acting or special effects.

Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
