This is the first time Monroe visits Aunt Marie's trailer. He is also the first other than Nick and Juliette to visit and the first other than Nick to know where it is (seemingly). [In episode 3, "Beeware," a bee is shown to be spying on Nick through the skylight in the trailer, but it's unclear how much the mellifers are capable of communicating with the bees, or even if there was anyone from the local community left to look for the trailer.]
Opens with the quote "Fee fi fo fum... I smell the blood of an Englishman.", from the fairytale "Jack the Giant Killer".
The ogre's last name is "Stark." This is rather fitting, as "stark" is the German word for "strong" and in English is another word for "harsh," "severe," or "unadorned, unembellished, bare or plain."
At one point, Hank remarks that nobody knew where Stark came from, "like he fell out of the sky'. In the fairy tale Jack & the Beanstalk, the giant/ogre lived in a castle in the sky.
Hank describes the crime that put Stark away: A business associate named Jack Lambert knew that Stark, a contract killer, liked to be paid in gold. Jack stole the gold and Stark murdered Jack and his family. This is similar to the Jack & the Beanstalk story where Jack stole gold from the Giant.
