Shot at Chapman University, where the main set was constructed on one of the multiple soundstages. Other locations included a practical set, which was the director's own apartment, and a building near the college.
Near the end of filming, the crew was recording "Room Tone" in order to add the appropriate background noise levels in the film. The director, Kaya Sorak, was unaware of this, and began giving directions to Jim Rothman. When he was informed that room tone had already begun, it amused the crew so much the take was unusable and the recording had to be performed again.
Premiered at the Los Angeles International Shortsfest.
Shot in 3 days.
During a flashback sequence, Jim was asked to twist off the top of a beer bottle, where the cap was already removed and throw it in the glass in front of him. During one take, the cap skipped off the table, nearly striking the camera lens. Jim was also surprised to find there was actual beer in the bottle.
