In the Western coast of Sweden (Bohuslans archipelago) , Annika Kristensson who lives on Dyrön island, is ferry captain: she is in charge of the school transportation and also of tourists transportation.
Now some words about Göteborg: a town with many green spaces, Peter a student of biology, is studying the biodiversity in these greeen spaces (the growth of the bird species for example). Besides every Friday the ecologists of "Fridays for Future" have meeetings in this town
The quality of life is very important for the Swedes: fathers sharing with their wives the education of the children: the parental leave of 9 months can be divided between the father and the mother: Besides Sweden is an important place for immigrants (the case of Saadia Hussein, whose father come from Pakistan and feels now Swedish.
The Swedes have a strong relationship with the nature: a TV program about the migration of the elands is very popular: Maria and Johannes manage 14.000 hectares of forest and take care for the birds living in this forest.
In the schools the pupils (boys and girls) learn carpentry (making for example bookshells), so they learn the importance of the wood and of the conservancy of the forests. In Sweden the families may go to the forest, making camping, pick up plants (the bear garlic fo example) , they let later the places clean (so the children learn to be responsible).
About health many firms promotes the sport at work and hav their own gyms for the employees: there is also the saunas (place of meeting with the friends).
About innovation Sweden has also been a country of innovation (the dynamite, the pacemaker, the GPS, the tetrapak or the furniture kits): now the young Gustav is developing an electric boat which can slide over the sea).
I enjoyed very the encounters of Sophie with Mirja Lilja Hagsjö on the island of Marstrand (the visit of the lighthouse "Pater Noster", the boat tour with Johan Hagsjö near the seals, the fishing of the crabs and the great supper with seafood and the visit of Göteborg and the tasting of the Prästost), then the encounter with Ingela Holgersson in Grönemad: trhe kayak excursion and the collecting of garbage on an islet (th streams bring plastic wastes of all Europe towards the Western coast of Sweden) and finally the encounter with Jeanna Berger, an architect and designer who has built 20 cabins near the lake, cabins of wood with many windows: thre Ingla's father invited Sophie to give with him a great hug to a tree (a practice of Japan and South Korea: Sophi appreciated very much the slow life in contact with the nature and finally Jeanna and Sophie enjoyed a horseback riding through the forest.
I enjoyed also the kindness of the Swedish men and women.
