Caustic Zombies seems to follow the plots of equally awful films like Chernobyl Diaries and Toxic Zombies. I love pollution, love polluting the environment, so I figured it would have some underlying environmentalist tree-hugging crud, surprisingly it didn't, but it wasn't exactly amazing.
For one thing, it's inaccurate. There was nothing that happened on Three-Mile Island, no epic and disturbing meltdown, no explosion, just a possibility. Then there's the cliché plot of zombies being caused by toxic waste, that's spread from Troma's 'Redneck Zombies' to the TV movie Goosebumps: Welcome to Dead House. The soundtrack was pretty unmemorable, the acting wasn't all that good and the plot was predictable and boring, very boring.
I did like the title, it was original and creative, but sadly this film has very little to offer.
