The Braxton drama is interesting, even if Brax's characterisation is all over the place. It's hard to tell by the end whether he feels he's outgrown the River Boys or whether he just realises he's got a responsibility to Casey.Heath, astonishingly, seems to be developing into the most subtle of the Braxtons;his power play here seems to be the result not of ambition but of wanting his brother back.Casey's rebel without a cause attitude doesn't really fit in but Ruby is proving to be one of the best characters at the moment, from her little bit with Miles and VJ to a nice scene with April.
In the midst of this, there's some much anticipated follow up to what's going on with Liam, some comedy with Marilyn doing Leah's hair that sees some nice character work from Miles and Marilyn continuing to claw back viewer sympathy by not going off at Roo, even if she does seem determined to play the victim.
