This movie gave me hope in friendship, love and overall life sequence that we experience in reality and doesn't really show in almost all the movies. Felt so real. A must watch movie of all time. Definitely the best so far. Keep going Bhutan.

Unique Bhutanese Film

Gangnam Girls stand out among the sea of Bhutanese films. Without spoiling the film, there is a particular scene in the film where the actor's performance and the cinematographer's compositions played well hand in hand.
There are a few unrealistic and odd elements. Most of the scenes are uncut and go on in a single take. Impressive job on the part of the actors for all performing well, looks like they reharsed their lines well. This makes sense, as the director Charmi is from a theatre background.
Additionally, Mr. Jigme Tenzing and his team has done yet again, a wonderful job creating the visuals. Lastly, its worth mentioning that everything shown on screen seems well planned and done with the intent to evoke certain emotions and goes in alignment with the character's assigned traits.
Overall, a solid 7/10! If you are a Bhutanese tired of mainstream films with similar plotlines, this is a breath of fresh air.
