Aside from the season premier when the stage was beautifully set, this episode is the epitome of "and the plot thickens". I was disappointed with last weeks episode and felt that the entire episode was filler with lots of flashbacks and a stale story that didn't forward the main narrative, with the exception of the last minutes and the big reveal.

But this episode is non-stop edge of your seat suspense. Without giving anything away, the writing for this episode was bold and sharp with a lot happening, probably more storyline added to the narrative than the last three episodes combined. Even better, certain side-stories I felt lacked clarity and/or had plot holes in them pretty much all got filled in and explained. You know an episode is great when you not only can't wait for next weeks episode, but get angry you actually have to wait an entire week for it. Hoping this great writing with reveals continues until the season finale.

Why does Juliette always have to be such a jerk to everyone?! Is it so hard to have even a LITTLE empathy? From the way she treats her father, to the judge, or even Billings... it's always so hostile. I get her character is supposed to be rough around the edges, but she's just way too willing to put other people's lives in danger.

Until this point, I still liked her. But after seeing her chastise her father & be so rude, even when he's going out of his way to help, just infuriated me. Willing to risk him getting killed, willing to get Gloria killed by trying to reverse the sedative... talking down to the judge, as she's sitting there crying on her couch... but you're telling me Jules doesn't have even the faintest awareness to recognize other people are also going through horrible stuff too?

Sure, setup Billings to be YOUR patsy... risking his life, his wife & his infant child. Meanwhile, all he's done is try to work with you & earn your trust. I get it, she's not a trusting person, but you'd think experiencing her own trauma would help her recognize when others are suffering as well.

Again, I still like the show. Just not sure I like how our protagonist is so cool with sacrificing others. For someone who is so hellbent on solving a murder case, you'd think leaving a trail of new murders in her wake isn't exactly something she'd want. How many more people will die because she's so careless? I don't know. Guess I'll keep watching & find out!

This turned into a Wayward-Pines/Twin Peaks type series with this episode, I kept shaking cause I did not want to believe how good this episode was information and acting-wise. I have no idea how will Juliette get out of this mess in the next episode. We still have tons of questions within the Silo like who is Sims really, what happened to Juliette's Mother and everything on the hard drive. In this episode we got to know the connection between Holston's letter and the time skip. It was really important, and it hit like a stone when they revealed it. Props to the director and I hope they make a second and a third season too because this show is too good to let it die, it's rare when we get a series this high-quality. I feel so sorry for those who gave up on the series because of the fillers.

Good premise but I think they had about 5 episodes of material that they are trying to stretch out to 10. Has anything actually happened other than the original sheriff and his wife went out to clean (and are most likely both alive, probably drinking mai tais on the beach), and Juliette Nichols took over as the sheriff and lead character?

This episode features some of the worst writing so far. Revealing that Sims has a Big Brother like setup where he can see everything that's going on raises plot problems. How can anyone get anywhere against Sims, so how can you have a story?

That's okay, we'll just arbitrarily nerf him by having some of the cameras be conveniently broken, or they forgot to place them in the nursery, or they don't have enough, or they were dummies and put the cameras behind mirrors that can be easily blocked rather than having them be in obscure locations near the ceilings. Rather than resort to dumb stuff like that, either don't give Sims the cameras, or have Juliette be extra smart to counter him.
