The net is closing in, and those at the very top of the chain get twitchy, their only option, to go after Boyce.
It really has been a great show, and here it gets a high quality concluding episode that it deserved. Surprises await, some ghosts are laid to rest, and some questions continue to go unanswered.
I've mentioned the acting throughout, with every episode, someone different has had the limelight, Tom Cullen and Jack Lowden were both excellent.
Does any song sum up the era better than Shout, by Tears for Fears, a song that screams of the anger of the time, an era where many struggled, had nothing, some did very, very well. This show truly managed to capture the visuals and vibe of the era.
At this point in time, it seems very likely that a second series is on the way, I can't say I think one is needed, as I'm not fully sure where they'll go with it, but it's been a ratings winner, so expect it back.
9/10.
