Game of Thrones‘ Jason Momoa is embarking on a fur-ocious new Frontier at Netflix.
The streaming giant has handed a six-episode series order to a Momoa-fronted action-adventure drama that follows the chaotic and violent struggle to control wealth and power in the North American fur trade in the late 18th century.

Netflix has acquired Frontier, a Canadian action adventure drama series that has tapped Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice) to star. The six-episode first season of the series — from creators Rob Blackie (Republic Of Doyle) and Peter Blackie (Majumder Manor) and director Brad Peyton (San Andreas) — will premiere exclusively on Netflix outside of Canada in 2016.
