Sex & Nudity

  • In one scene, Sherlock is only covering himself with a sheet. Mycroft steps on it, and the sheet is about to fall until he prevents it.
  • A woman is shown in a revealing outfit a few times, sone of which are pictures. We see cleavage, side-boob, and panty-clad buttocks.
  • The ringtone of a phone is a woman moaning, but this implemented in a funny way. Also the word "porn" is said but it's very short. A woman sits naked but nothing can be seen.
  • The episode starts with a BDSM scene, where a woman is tied to a bed, and another is shown in panties with a riding crop.
  • "Sexy" is used multiple times.
  • Someone says "I'd have you right here on this desk until you begged for mercy twice" and asks "have you ever had anyone?"
  • A major character is a "dominatrix" who provides "recreational scolding."
  • A woman is naked for an entire scene, with any vital parts strategically covered by objects until she sits down and curls up so that we can't see anything explicit. It is also revealed that she is a dominatrix and her profession is implicated in some scenes and pictures, though no nudity is ever seen.

Violence & Gore

  • In a flashback, Mrs. Hudson is seen getting violently dragged up a staircase. Later, she is seen having various small wounds all over her body, implying that her captors have further injured her.
  • A man is shot, but neither the killing nor his body is seen.
  • Men are punched in the face on various occasions, sometimes leaving small wounds.
  • A woman stabs a syringe into a man's arm, causing him to fall to the floor while she wields a riding crop at him to stop him from getting back to his feet.
  • Various corpses are seen, especially so in a scene taking place in a plane full of dead passengers. However, none of them have any wounds and their bodies aren't yet decomposed.

Profanity

  • One use of 'shit'.
  • Sherlock says "people don't go to heaven they are burnt." Not sure if he's being sarcastic when he says it or not
  • As always, there's only minor cursing to be heard, with 5 mild obscenities, 18 religious exclamations, and 2 mild insults.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • People drink alcohol at a seasonal gathering.
  • Two characters are seen smoking a cigarette.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Sherlock dresses as a priest to get in somewhere although nothing offensive happens some might find it not the most comforting
  • The violence and even the one death is rather mild, but the plane filled with dead people is likely to disturb younger audiences.
