Three years ago at a glitzy investor presentation, Paramount unveiled plans to launch The Weekly Show with Trevor Noah.
The series never got off the ground, but an audio version hosted by new (and old) host Jon Stewart is launching soon.
The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart launches on all major podcast platforms on June 6.
The series will see Stewart dive into current events topics and feature a variety of guests, including newsmakers, authors and celebrities.
It is produced by Paramount Audio in association with Stewart’s Busboy Productions.
The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart is the latest Daily Show podcast following series such as The Daily Show: Ears Edition.
“After much reflection, meditation, and prayer, I have decided to extend my work week to two days,” Stewart said last month.

Stephen Colbert Says ‘Apple Has Canceled Jon Stewart Again’ After Telling Chinese Labor Joke (Video)
Stephen Colbert poked fun at his former “Daily Show” bud and late night peer Jon Stewart on Wednesday night, cracking a joke about the recent cancellation of the comedian’s Apple TV+ show.
During the opening monologue for “The Late Show,” Colbert discussed President Joe Biden’s meeting on Wednesday with Chinese President Xi Jinping. According to the New York Times, China’s economy has been struggling in part due to “anemic consumer spending and high youth unemployment.”
“It’s gotten so bad that second graders can’t get a job at the iPhone factory,” Colbert quipped. “And I’m being told that in response to that joke, Apple has canceled Jon Stewart again.”
In October, “The Problem with Jon Stewart” was canceled after two seasons. The shuttering reportedly came down to creative differences that had to do with the series’ coverage of artificial intelligence and China. The controversial topics...

“I think she looks hot!” Conway said on Saturday’s edition. “And good for her for doing that, good for Sports Illustrated for putting her on one of the four covers … the old saying is true – now that I’m an old lady I want to say it – ‘Youth is wasted on the young.'”
Host Will Cain was talking about “The Golden Bachelor” coming to ABC this fall when he segued to the Si cover, making Stewart the oldest model to grace the cover in history.

Martha Stewart has been making history for a long time. At 81 years old, the media mogul appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated's 2023 swimsuit issue on May 15, making her the oldest person to appear on the front of the magazine. It's the latest achievement in Stewart's extraordinary career, which has spanned a wide variety of mediums, from books and magazines to reality TV.
Stewart was born in New Jersey on August 3, 1941 to two teachers. She appeared in a few commercials as a child, and started off her career as a model. Over the course of her life, she has worked as a stockbroker, magazine publisher, and media mogul, to name just a few of her many roles. It hasn't all been smooth sailing, though; Stewart also spent five months in prison in 2004 - but she's definitely bounced back since then. Ahead, learn more...

Remember parental advisory stickers? Eminem used to be the big bad of inappropriate music warnings, so much so that a young Pete Davidson had to hide his album from his mom in a Rod Stewart CD case.
“When I was younger, I bought the uncensored Eminem Show CD, which of course I wasn’t allowed to have, so I kept it in a Rod Stewart jewel case,” the comedian told Good Housekeeping. “My mom noticed, and for years she’d play Rod Stewart to have something we could bond over. I’d be sitting in the car and suddenly she’d say ‘It’s Rod!’ and start singing along to ‘Maggie May.’ I had to learn the songs just to keep the lie going. I kinda learned to like Rod Stewart.”
The sweet story appears in a special Good Housekeeping Mother’s Day interview between Davidson, his mother Amy, and Edie Falco,...

Mo McRae’s face may be more recognizable than his name. As an actor for more than 20 years with over 60 credits and counting he’s worked steadily, appearing on TV and in film in such roles as Benjamin Berry in “The Flight Attendant,” Blip Sanders on the short-lived “Pitch,” and Gus Henderson in “Den of Thieves.” Now he’s moved behind the camera as the co-writer and director of “A Lot of Nothing,” his feature film debut.
Officially, the film is about an uber-successful Black married couple whose perfect lives are knocked off kilter when they learn via the evening news that their cop neighbor, who is white, has killed a kid. In a time where the police killings of Tyre Nichols in Memphis and George Floyd in Minneapolis are front of mind, they assume that the victim is Black and decide to get answers. And that’s when everything goes wrong.
