The Poisonous Gas and the Snake
claudio_carvalho23 July 2014
The police investigate the crime scene in the marina while Beth goes to Miami Metro with the poisonous gas in a backpack and waits for Debra, telling that she has information about the Wormwood. However, Dexter sees Beth and locks her in a room, saving the lives of people in the police station. La Guerta leaks the involvement of Matthews in the death of the prostitute and he believes that Debra has betrayed him. Dexter decides to call the attention of Travis and he makes a tableau using Gellar's hand.

In "Talk to the Hand", the naive Debra learns that LaGuerta has used her interest in the case of the prostitute to get rid of MaatthewsDexter becomes a hero for his colleagues, protecting them against the poisonous Gas. My vote is eight.

S6.E11 - Burn It All [9/10]
panagiotis199323 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
(S6. E11) My Reaction / Review for Dexter Season 6 Episode 11 ''Talk to the Hand'': Episode 10 was good and I gave it a rating of 8.8/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. So Travis wants to bomb the miami metro homicide building, he is using Beth and the main target is Debra? That's brutal. Dex saved everyone, if it wasnt for him, everybody would be dead. Travis killed two more people? Damn he is fast. So now Deb knows about what Matthews did. Quinn is such a mess, he needs to change and do it asap.

The psychiatrist thinks that Deb is in love with Dex, that's very unfair, he is the only family she has. Why would Louis need the ice truck killer fake hand? Is it just a hobby or there is more? What Dexter did to this statue is really messed up. I have to admit that Travis is really good at drawing. Deb didn't tell anyone about Matthews, so who did it, is it Laguerta maybe? Deb had a really creepy dream about Dex, disgusting. Dex chose the worst moment to get all dizzy. What an insane cliffhanger. Overall an amazing episode, my rating is 9/10.

How did I get so lost
dannylee-7808214 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
1. Dexter saves the day 2. Deb has dinner with Mathews 3. Deb has wet dreams about Dexter

With many seasons, it's sometimes just is... hard to keep up with the character development. Was Laguerta always this manipulative and evil? Perhaps. But she sounded particularly vicious this episode.

The whole Debra's fantasy plot line is just... really strange. Straight up out of stepbrother porn. No need for it at all.

The whole Travis scene at the end felt very forced. I mean I understand the need for Dexter to escape but man it was so not tense at all. Very rushed and gave no time for the audience to be immersed in the scene. All in all, very confusing episode with lots missing. One of the most disappointing second to finale episodes.

simply don't make sense
zero031818 December 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Why did Dexter know Ms. Doorsey carrying wormwood? Nobody in Miami Metro Homicide ever question, ever investigate!! either the people in the department are all dumb or they don't have common sense. the script writers used to take this kind of problem into account and develop a more clever plot so to make dexter not getting under radar. but not this time! this time, the writers simply make everyone shut up and forget about dexter knowing Ms. Doorsey carrying wormwood, very unconvincing!! Besides this episode, there are some serious problems with this season (and the previous season). First, they add in new characters without developing them. Mike Anderson? I don't even know what he is doing in this season. i dunno his life, i don't know his personality. at least, they can try to create some conflicts between him and the main characters just to spice things up. Second, they add in a character that has nothing to do with the cases and is just plain unlikable. yes, I mean Quinn. Right from the start, he was just there so that deb could have a boyfriend. and after that, i didn't see he had a lot to do with the story development. he was not helping the cases, he was late for work, he was drunk and had sex with different girls at night, why is he still there? Third, there is problem with Dexter himself. why he always look angry? Dexter used to be cruel, calm, gentle and affectionate. but in this season, he is just plain angry. what's the problem? Overall, this season is a big disappointment. and for the script writers, i hope you can take your time to develop season 7 & 8. the success of Dexter is based on its clever plot, likable and multidimensional characters, and Dexter himself. please don't ruin it.
