I saw this at the Fantasia film festival and it was my favorite movie in the screening. I have played Second Life and I knew couples who fell in love in the world. the acting is OK, and the animation made me laugh because it's exactly how it looks in SL. I love the ending! So surprising!
MY AVATAR is about relationships in the virtual world Second Life. I thought the scenes in the real world were pretty believable. I've had boyfriends that couldn't understand why I spent so much time in SL. It's a place where I can really be myself. It's strange, but the movie captures that so well for me. Worth watching!
