There's some nice material surrounding Elijah here and the introduction of his new co-worker Janelle provides a promise that he might be getting something to do other than pining about Leah or Grace.Brax is a hard character to pin down:He's incredibly unsympathetic in his dealing with Angelo but his scenes with Elijah and his knowledge of the Bible and of faith are actually really well done.It's perhaps best not to think about Elijah as a car thief though.Or who hired the tattooed waitress.
April continues to unravel and only Dexter really seems to have noticed something wrong, although she's another one that can be a bit too unsympathetic at the moment.The triumvirate of Angelo, Roo and Liam are forming a nice friendship group, even if it does distract Liam from his date with Bianca.Although her insecure attempts to make herself looking alluring are a nice touch, she once again treats Liam like an alcoholic when he doesn't seem to be anything of the sort.
