Spotted those shiny boxed horror movies in your local Tesco? Craig's watched them. All of them.
There's a certain type of horror film fan who enjoys a challenge. Perhaps they like a sense of adventure with their films. Perhaps there's also an element of gambling. It starts small. Low odds. For example, they might buy a boxset of the Alien Quadrilogy. Four seemingly reasonable films but there's an element of both chance and endurance. Can you sit through nearly eight hours of Alien films? And, if you can, how many of them will you like? Eventually not only does the thrill become harder to chase as the product's effect gets weaker (anyone who's bought Hellraiser boxsets will know the rules of diminishing returns) but there are only a finite number of franchises in the world and the hardened need to find new, strange ways of getting their kicks.
So bear with me.

Born at 10:14 p.m. and weighing in 8 pounds and 13 ounces, Theodore Ignatius Fitzpatrick came into the world on Friday (September 20), welcomed by proud parents, Kaylee DeFer and Michael Fitzpatrick.
“Kaylee was a rock star!” the proud new dad said of the birth to Us Weekly, him being a rocker himself. His plans to go on stage with his band drastically changed when Kaylee went into the delivery room.
The “Gossip Girls” actress spoke about the surprise news of her pregnancy in early May, saying, “We weren't planning on getting pregnant, so right now we're just enjoying being pregnant.” The couple apparently did not have plans to marry.
Also, if fans want to see more of Kaylee, then they can check out some of her most recent movies, including “In My Pocket” and “Darkroom,” each of which premiered this year.

Darkrooms are generally used in photography, but not here. In Britt Napier's film, a darkroom is used to "reveal secrets." The character Michelle (Kaylee DeFer) has killed three of her friends in a horrifying car accident, which leaves her visibly shaken. And now, someone wants revenge! Darkroom is currently at the American Film Market. This title will have its World Premiere at this event November 1st. This film will then, hopefully, find a release date so horror fans can uncover Michelle's secrets too. Premiere Date: November 1st (World Premiere). Director: Britt Napier. Writer: Michaelbrent Collings. Cast: Kaylee DeFer, Elisabeth Röhm, Christian Campbell, Tobias Segal, and Steve Stanulis. Sometimes things can get a little out of hand on the set of a movie. Especially during the filming of action or fight scenes! Case in point ... "Gossip Girl" Kaylee DeFer's new horror film Darkroom!
According to Contact Music, DeFer (pictured right) and actor Steve Stanulis suffered a number of injuries after a fight scene for their new movie got out of hand.
The pair were filming Darkroom, which also stars "Law & Order"'s Elizabeth Rohm, at a bar on Staten Island, New York on Thursday night (29Jun11) in scenes which show their characters embroiled in a brawl with club bouncers.
However, the fake fight didn't run smoothly - DeFer was left with bruised ribs and Stanulis had a twisted knee. The stars carried on and re-filmed the scene before seeking medical treatment.

A report about fight gone out of control has called our attention to a new horror film now in production. It's called Darkroom and it is directed by Britt Napier; this is her feature debut. Kaylee DeFer of Gossip Girl plays a woman named Michelle who takes a job recommended by her counselor. The gig lands her trapped in a mansion with three psychotic siblings hell bent on purging Michelle of her sins. Elisabeth Röhm ( Angel ) co-stars with Christian Campbell, Britne Oldford, Natalie Knepp, Steven Stanulis and Tobias Segal. As for that aforementioned fight, it apparently occurred between DeFer and Stanulis. Not a big deal.
