Plot Summary

Blessed John Duns Scotus was the Franciscan Friar who gave the theological explanation for the Immaculate Conception in the early 14th century. The motion picture tells the story of the life and teachings of Duns Scotus starting with his refusal to endorse a decree by the King of France against the Pope and ending with the theological dispute with the Dominican Friars concerning the conception of Mary, Mother of Jesus. It also gives a glimpse of Duns Scotus's life as a boy wanting to join the Franciscan Friars. Written by Vincenzo Mosca
