This is a slightly fun film with bewildering happenings , giggles , emotion , profanities , twists and triangular love stories . Alfonso (Adrian Lastra) , a shy young , has always harbored a secret love for Sara (Paula Prendes) , the cutest , brightest girl in the Veterinary University . When he finally decides to declare his love , Sara is awarded a scholarship to study Veterinary at Cambridge , Massachusetts USA . It would seem that all is lost for Alfonso , but his drop-out pals who formed the ¨Brain Drain¨ team are back and they are not ready to throw in the towel . This time they will be going to the Veterinary Faculty at Harvard University . As his friends get together again : the outcast José Manuel Sanchez Expósito (Alberto Amarilla) , who is blind but acts like a normal young ; Wheels (Gorka Lasaosa), who is paraplegic and sexist ; Goat, who is a hacker and drug dealer ; Corneto, who is a womanizer , among others , help him to achieve his objective : to pursue the girl of his life , and they will be going to the Veterinary Faculty at Harvard University . In ¨Fuga de Cerebros 1¨ most of them were not too brilliant pupils at a humble local secondary schools , present-day they are humble workers at ordinary Works : fishmonger or supermarket cashier . After faking qualifications and scholarships , this band of brainless nuts land in Cambridge , causing havoc in the normally peaceful campus existence . When Alfonso meets Sara , his friends decide to help him to get closer to her ; but when he least expect it , there shows up Marta (Patricia Montero), the girl who fell in love when they were children , an old flame who rekindles his past childhood romance .
