The clown mask used in the film was a Christmas present given to director, Jon Huybrecht.
Shot in just one day.
The entire film was shot on a Mini-DV camera and edited together one month before principle photography commenced. This rough edit was used as a tool by the filmmakers during shooting. The actual film was shot on the Red One camera.
Shot entirely at Malaga Castle, a historic location in the heart of Hollywood, built in 1924 by architect, Leland Bryant. Legend has it that it that the Castle is haunted, due to several murders that have occurred on the premises. It is also rumored that it was once the location of a "love nest" for Joseph Kennedy and film star, Gloria Swanson.
The basement of the castle, where the majority of the film was shot, contained a series of furnaces where you can see the Clown popping up and down from in the film. Built in Germany during World War 2, the handles on each furnace all had Nazi swastika's on them.
