Colombian Hannibal + Wilhelm scream = Sazón Caníbal
"Sazón Caníbal" is a short Comedy movie from Colombia, directed in 2009 by Samuel Isaías Gómez.
Basic plot: A chef cannibal is making a dinner which involves a human heart and some other body parts, and thus making a reference to the notorious Hannibal Lecter. The restaurant guest who appears in the end is played by the director himself.
Being a Norwegian movie watcher, I hadn't heard about this film at all, mainly because this has not been released in Norway. But that was until I was researching on the Wilhelm Scream which appears mainly on lots of Hollywood movies, and randomly saw this film's title here on the IMDb site. This is what lead me into watching this funny little film online.
This short film does has basically no violence in it. But since the film deals mainly with a human heart, this film might be a little bit offensive to any squeamish people, even for a dark comedy. But otherwise, this is a great little one to watch if you are into foreign short films and dark humor. The Wilhelm Scream however can clearly be heard two times, you can simply not miss it.
My overall rating: 7/10
