The past is in the past
forla-107-46311919 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I liked this episode a lot because it gently closed Liz's story, leaving no room for doubt that she's dead. They said their last goodbye, they gave her the "funeral" which they rightly didn't show us in the first episodes because it would have been a deja-vu.

They also permanently erased the theories that for years supported the fact that Red could be Liz's lover and/or Agnes's father.

Now there is no doubt that grandfather/grandmother, this is the relationship he has with Agnes.

Anyone who has followed the series knows what it means.

So, now that the past is in the past, the mysteries they will deal with in the next episodes are, in my opinion, very interesting and I can't wait to find out more.

I figured the season wouldn't really start until March, because from now on they won't have any more interruptions.

Kumbaya and Kaftans
bosporan20 March 2022
Love The Blacklist and was worried it would take a turn-for-the-worse when Megan Boone (Liz) decided to leave. The relationship between her and Spader (Red) elevated the whole above a run-of-the-mill procedural. Spader has had to carry it on his own this season and it has worked, particularly with the arc of 'Who killed Elizabeth' still going on. I am pleasantly surprised that there will be a season 10.

This episode is the weakest so far - too little Red reveals the weakness of the other actors and drops to hum-drum. The Ressler intervention/therapy session is especially cringeworthy and unbelievable. We are bad-ass FBI Agents, but Kaftans and Kumbaya - really?

Warning: Spoilers
Great episode....but at the end Harold Cooper told keens kid that Reddington was indeed HER GRANDFATHER....so it this the absolute first and forever confirmation that he was keens father???? Anywho, a great episode with a "criminal" stock market (if you think most stock markets aren't criminal....lol)...enjoy!!!

Enough about Liz
pauli_gomez2 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
All this conversation about Liz is dragging the show. Let the task force investigate things, have some fun please, stop with the drama. We got it, everybody loved Liz, they miss it. Now move on.

The conversation between Red and Harold was excellent...and by comparison, the scene in the cemetery was almost laughable. The acting was off. Also, I never liked Ressler but now I even understand what he is doing in the Force. It seems that he has no place in it anymore.

I am wondering if Reymond put something in the bunny, to spy Harold when he is with Agnes. Perhaps I am paranoid, but I would not be surprised.

Another Original Villain
Hitchcoc16 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
People put their lives on the line for profit and are directed by "the Chairman." But if they go off on their own, they face reprisal such as the losing of a finger or two. The man is quite brilliant in manipulating his empire. Reddington has had his assets affected and that's why he's in the game. Meanwhile, the exhumation of Elizabeth's body produces a sophisticated chip that is unlike anything seen before. Cooper continues to be threatened by the phone guy; this time being asked to kidnap a college student who is clueless as to why he has been chosen. Ressler (who is so tiresome at times) still has the pills but no place to go. Once again, he blames Red for everything wrong in his life. The Force finally enters the picture.

A bit dull
pablorubio-3295122 March 2022
I kind of held hope that Liz would re enter the plot, maybe for a tenth season comeback

The whole story without the liz-red bond os a bit lost ... Why would Red cooperate wuth the FBI? It is much more fun being a criminal mastermind in thailand than un NY

The whole plot os enjoyable, but dull ... Like an old friend.
