Lee offers Lucy a ticket to Wimbledon, to see the dogs. When she refuses his kind offer he gets the hump, gets out of the car to walk home, when he does he's hit by a car. He wakes up, finds he's being looked after by Lucy, who now has feelings for Lee. Naturally it's a dream, which soon becomes a nightmare.
I love Life on Mars, so was always going to absolutely love this episode, it is one of my favourites. The format works well with Lee's brand of humour, it's wonderfully surreal. Will never forget the sight of Bobby Ball with that wig and dress on.
It's like a Yorkshire remake of Gone with the Wind, it's barking mad, one I think that's love it or hate it. 9/10
