It is stated that Wyatt Earp was only ever a part-time lawman. This is untrue. He was elected deputy marshal of Dodge City, which was a full-time post (although he maintained business interests outside of his job). It is also stated that the 'Gunfight at the OK Corral' was the result of a robbery Wyatt Earp and Ike Clanton had committed together. This is untrue, as they were both competing over a reward offered for a pair of stagecoach robbers. It is stated that it 'Wasn't much of a gunfight, as most of their side didn't have guns. Whilst Ike Clanton and Billy Claiborne weren't armed (and survived the fight), both Billy Clanton and Frank McLaury were illegally carrying pistols and Tom McLaury was shot reaching for a rifle in a saddlebag. The shootout was actually so intense that Wyatt Earp was the only member of his party left unhurt. His friend Doc Holliday and his brothers Virgil and Morgan Earp were all wounded during the gun-battle.
None of the guns fired by Wyatt Earp, Billy the Kid or Pearl Heart discharge so the guns are completely empty.
