This series premier was originally postponed for a week by CBS, then rescheduled and went on programmed on its regularly planned date. The Honeymooners Lost Episode guide by Donna McCrohan and Peter Crescenti reports that the very first number by the June Taylor Dancers was titled 'Five Minutes to Show Time' and described as big, splashy, and glamorous. Sixteen dancers participated in the production.
The title of the 'Honeymooners' sketch was 'The New Bowling Ball.' The skit ran 8:45 in length. Other sketches include the Poor Soul painting his dog and Reginald Van Gleason III as a shoe salesman. Gleason sang 'I Love Girls'; Eileen Barton sang 'Come Rain or Come Shine' and 'You Like?'; Louis Armstrong performed 'A Kiss to Build a Dream On' and 'That's a Plenty.'
