A pure gem
searchanddestroy-126 July 2015
That's here the best short crime movie I watched in my entire life. Made by a young director whose it is the first feature - as are most of short movies, I admit. A brutal, dark, crime flick where the characters study is put at its peak. I guess Melville's features inspired the film maker. I find here the atmosphere of many french crime movies of the seventies. I love this short film. Benjamin Rocher - the director - gave us an excellent, if not flawless, horror film: LA HORDE, with the collaboration of the top movie journalist Yannick Dahan. His next film GOAL OF THE DEAD is also very well made, unfortunately destroyed by a f...happy ending. So, if you can, through the LA HORDE DVD bonus, enjoy this pure jewel. But I warn you, if the next Benjamin Rocher's film: ANTI GANG is a piece of crap as the trailer suggests, with tons of humor, I will destroy it. Literally. I swear on my parents's grave. So watch out folks, around the 22nd of August. I will never admit that such a good director wastes his talent in such garbage can humor crime movies. So, wait and see folks. You can count on me.
