Exclusive: Ozark‘s Felix Solis has signed on to star opposite Jacob Moran, Madeleine McGraw and Violet McGraw in The Necklace, a horror film from director Juan Pablo Arias Munoz that heads into production in Atlanta in late May.
Written by John Ducey, The Necklace watches as the Davis family navigates through tough times in 1960. Laura Davis has separated from her husband Frank due to his unpredictable temper, fueled by alcohol. As Laura returns to work as a nurse, her daughters, 11-year-old Ellen (Violet McGraw) and 16-year-old Judy (Madeleine McGraw), grapple with the changes in their family dynamics. Ed Harris has assembled an intriguing leading trio for his soon-to-shoot take on Kim Zupan’s acclaimed neo-noir novel The Ploughmen.
Ed Harris is returning to the director’s chair for the third time in his career to make The Ploughmen. Based on Kim Zupan’s acclaimed neo-noir novel, the film is set to shoot in the autumn and Harris has managed to coax the likes of Nick Nolte and Bill Murray to star alongside Owen Teague, the young star currently on cinema screens in Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes.
According to the synopsis, as published by The Hollywood Reporter, 'The Ploughmen follows a strange friendship that develops between a haunted young deputy sheriff and a notorious old murderer’.

Pic’s plot is under wraps, though it’s been described as a psychological drama with thriller elements. David Lancaster is producing, with Gutierrez set direct from his own script.
