Wonderful

Wonderful film, truly a masterpiece. Was inspired by the acting. The set design was refreshing and pleasing to the eye. The costumes were good. All those involved, kudos. Please make more films like this. One of my favorite piece to watch The storyline was a great flow to it. The lighting wasn't my favorite, but still OK. Overall a great film. The adult actors were full of imagination and portrayed their characters with great skill and feeling. The child actors were joyful and inspiring to watch as they filled the screen with their sweet faces and awesome expressive portrayal of their characters. The film seems edited well and post production should be proud of the work they did. I would recommend seeing this when you are able as you will not be disappointed.

Riveting - Superb - Meaningful!

Saw this tonight and it's still replaying in my mind. This is what true and worthy communication through the performing arts should be! I am reluctant to refer to it as a "short", because it is quite "long" on gut-wrenching emotion -- sorrow, empathy, fear, and even pure joy and delight! A hearty, "Bravo!" to everyone involved on every level with this project. You should be pleased and proud! It is refreshing to see that there are writers, directors, actors and producers who still care about producing top quality works which uplift, rather than disgust. I hope anyone who routinely complains about the usual quality of stuff coming out of Hollywood has an opportunity to see and support this film. Nothing else should be said about it, because it just needs to be seen. NOW. What are you waiting for?! What part of now don't you understand?

Beautiful Film

Film sends a great message and everything about was made with detail. I was inspired after watching this film. I don't know if the film is a true story but it could be. If I was involved with teenagers, I would not hesitate to show them this film. Today's society needs to learn about responsibility and consequences for actions. You can't say, "Its my body, I can do whatever I want with it" when you affect the lives of others. I've watched films by the same director/producers and films like these remind that there are still good people in this world. People who want to make this world a better place. People who haven't given up hope because we're going through a hard time. Amazing!

Did not convince me

Warning: Spoilers
"Crescendo I" is an American/Mexican movie from 2011, so this one had its 5th anniversary last year. The writer and director is Alonso Alvarez and with him in charge as well as almost nobody in the cast being a native German speaker, you wonder for almost the entire film why they made this in German. The accents are thick. But then the revelation at the very end explains it. And this revelation with the excellent piece of music you hear at the very same time apparently tricked many into thinking this was a good film looking at the awards attention it received. But honestly it was very forgettable and the only somewhat memorable aspect in the first 12 minutes is the art direction with set decoration, costumes too to a lesser extent. But story-wise meh. This exploding window scene felt even a bit cringeworthy with how much it was dramatic for the sake of it. Now the inclusion of the Ode to Joy is not creative enough to watch the entire film here, just listen to it somewhere else. I give this film a thumbs-down overall, only worth seeing for the very biggest fans of period pieces, even if admittedly I like the anti-abortion message. Anyway, don't be fooled by the title as there is no sequel and probably never will be. That is all. Peace out.
