The show starts with a Thanksgiving themed production number with Carol, regulars and dancers in Pilgrim costumes, also guests Cannon and Lynde are introduced.
A funny sketch has Carol and Harvey as a married couple buying insurance from salesman Lynde. When their house burns down, Lynde is annoyed they call him to collect on their policy.
Carol introduces Dyan Cannon and talks about Cannon winning the NY Film Critics Award for "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice" and also plugs the new film "The Anderson Tapes". Cannon sings the Buffy St Marie song "Until It's Time For You To Go".
There is a very funny Funt and Mundane sketch as they yell at the crew before a performance, they find they wreck the set and destroy the props during the act. Lyle shows up as a jealous husband who gets shot with a banana.
The Ernie Flatt dancers do some balletic moves to the song "More:.
"As The Stomach Turns" has Cannon as rich widow who is constantly giving away money, Marion tries to get her to give her some. Vicki plays Marion's long lost daughter who ran away with the circus. Harvey and Lynde are hilarious as twin step sons of Cannon's.
The Charwoman is in a toy maker's shop. The toys (played by the dancers) come to life when she puts on a magic pair of glasses. She sings the song "Try To Remember" from "The Fantasticks"
Carol sings her theme and laughs at what Cannon and Lynde write in her book.
