The storylines were goofy across the board in this one, but it was still surprisingly entertaining from start to finish.

When you use a laryngoscope, you are at the head of the bed

I have watched this series from the beginning. I have usually been impressed with most of the medical accuracy. This episode however, disappointed me. When Conrad had an emergency intubation, he took the laryngoscope and intubated the patient from the side. You need to be at the head of the bed to be able to see the vocal cords in order to ensure the endotracheal tube goes into the lungs and not the esophagus.

Strong storyline. There is some nice character development going on. I appreciate that. I would award 8 stars.
What I don't appreciate is the increasing amount of progressive thinking and wokeness in this series. Mentioning gender as a 'social construct' and 'systemic racism' doesn't make the episode more enjoyable. Please don't mix entertainment with politics. Or this will be the umpteenth series that gets canceled by the public...
